jane marie parks.
When you heaer the air attack warning, you and your family must take cover
Lets go
Name: Jane Marie Renolds (Parks)
Age: Seventeen
Race: Gifted
Height: Five foot four inches.
Weight: One hundred and ten pounds.
Appearance:
Jane is a simple-looking creature, and is fragile to say the least. She has a thin and athletic physique, however due to her low body weight she seems as if you could snap her twiggy figure in two. Her blue eyes, sitting bluntly on her porcelain-colored face, are blue-colored, although most times the iris prefers the gray colors which dominate over the blues. Long and straight straw-colored hair falls down in tresses to her shoulders. Her eyelashes aren't extraordinarily thick and her eyebrows could use better sculpting, and overall Jane Parks seems to come off as a plain but graceful-looking beauty.

Personality:
Jane is sweet but mischievous, enjoying pranks but also having a nice, gentle side. She tends to get rather defensive if people start pushing her buttons, and an occasional blow-up isn't unusual. She's a fierce friend to the end, willing to do anything for anyone as long as they ask. She never turns down a challenge and her stubborn attitude never allows her to back down. With a Russian Roulette type of attitude, you can never be too sure about what kind of girl you're going to get that day.

Limitations:
For whatever reason, Jane simply has a difficult time healing in the dark. She also has a hard time healing anywhere without nature; she combines her Water manipulation techniques with her healing, so if she was in a building or in a car on the road, her gifts would be greatly downsized. She also prefers not to 'control' animals, so her experience with such is low.

Family:
Hunter Parks - brother, gifted agent
Mariella Parks - mother, deceased
Richard Parks - father, deceased
Kimberly Renolds - aunt, living.
History:
Jane was born into a rather wealthy family of Gifted people; however, that all changed once the government deemed the supernatural abilities as blasphemous and dangerous, so within weeks of the decree the Parks were stripped of their wealth and thrown onto the streets. Jane's mother and father were taken from her, leaving her and her older brother Hunter to fend for themselves. Hunter decided to take a dangerous route and change his name, cut his hair and join the Gifted Agents to protect himself. Jane then located her aunt, living with her and hiding under her family's name until the first slaughterings had been put out of the way. Jane's aunt and uncle were neutral in the war between Xenon and Cobalt and managed to keep Jane out of the action.
Jane taught herself most of the techniques that went along with her Gifts; after all, practicing them was strictly forbidden, so anyone who had gifts kept them private and weren't willing to teach others. She grew plants in her bedroom and had many pets, learning to communicate with them early on and enjoying the secret conversations she could have with them. In particular she grew fond of cats, who always seemed to be wise yet playful at the same time. She kept journals of her discoveries and of some of the conversations, and even came up with some of her own Healing techniques and wrote them down. Being the intelligent girl she was, she never backed down from a challenge; this time was no different. She now lives a pleasant life with her aunt and uncle, posing as their daughter in there middle-class neighborhood.

So much depended on the situation that was currently taking place. Rowen could almost feel the walls of the ally close in on both he and Kia as the near-crushing tension tightened and strangled them both. His vision became blurry as he stared into Kianthra's eyes, and just before his own tears began to fall, he watched Kia lose consciousness. As if the scene had played in slow-motion, Rowen instinctively felt himself drop so he could catch her falling form, and even though his arms screamed in protest, he lifted her and held her as if she were a small child. He sighed deeply, concentrating and apparating, holding onto Kia tightly as the magic allowed them to travel away from the club.
Rowen opened his eyes, finding himself standing in the middle of his living room in his apartment. It was so dark that he had trouble seeing, so he uttered the 'lumos' spell and watched as his wand tip began to glow pale blue. He walked slowly out of the living room and headed down the hall, hearing his sneakers gently tap the hard wood floor. At the end of the hall he nudged his door open with his elbow, stepping inside and walking over to his queen-sized mattress. The sheets and covers were pulled down already from this morning, so laying Kia down was relatively easy (besides the fact that he accidentally laid her down on his broken fingers, causing him to curse somewhat-loudly). He brushed stray strands of blonde hair away from her face, happy that at least in sleep she was at peace and not crying like she had been before. He pulled the blankets up, tucking her in like he used to do for October when she fell asleep on the couch when they were younger. He placed a kiss on Kia's forehead, grabbing a pillow from the other side of the bed and heading out of the room, headed for his next destination: the couch.
He pretty much collapsed onto the piece of furniture, curling up in a ball as his eyes drifted closed. For the first time in years he began to cry, hating himself for what he had done, and what he had done to her. Leaving hadn't been his only option. He could have stayed. He could have protected her from all this pain, all this evil that the world was thrusting upon her. He hadn't even bothered to fix his fingers which were throbbing with pain, and now he didn't intend on fixing them at all, figuring that he deserved the indirect punishment for making Kia cry.
