Strange things have always happened around Mystic Falls. Strange things have happened all over his world. Yet, few towns seem to attract it like Mystic Falls. There was a place, Sunnydale, but it's gone now. Things are being drawn to Mystic Falls now. Strange things, different things. . . dead things.
What draws them is not a portal, or a hellmouth. It's not even the founding families and their secrets. No, what draws them all is older than all of that. It draws people in with lights, with music, with a feeling, with a tug of the soul. The Fae have arrived.
Living in a mound under the city, they have been blissfully separate from our world. For what seemed like a few months to them, it was centuries for us. The fae court has just seen a rise in power. The Seelie and the Unseelie courts, the Sun and Moon, now united in marriage. They are looking to celebrate and what better way to celebrate than a hunt? The Hunt. Setting humans loose is no fun, so they call to the others. The vampires, the shifters, the witches, the slayers, the hunters, and more. They will all come to Mystic Falls and while they fight their own battles, search for their own answers the fae will play their games, all in preparation for the largest hunt this world has ever seen.
